Our client is an engineering company, operating since 1994, in the field of Food & Beverage. The Project Manager must have experience in the food and beverage industry, with either an engineering background or strong experience in managing implementation projects within F&B companies. He or she should be experienced, proactive, detail-oriented, resilient, and dynamic in managing our projects. Project management begins once the sales department closes a deal and moves into the implementation phase, which involves coordinating customer technical requirements with the suppliers’ scope of work and delivery capabilities, taking initiative in identifying technical adjustments and clarifying requirements, assigning site managers during installation and commissioning, ensuring that the schedule stays on track, and communicating with customers about project progress and any required input. Each project follows a defined sequence of steps that must be completed to ensure efficient closure. The Project Manager will also be responsible for keeping records, monitoring costs, controlling any budget overruns, managing schedules and milestones, and ensuring overall project progress and performance in line with the project plan.
Project Planning and Execution: o Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. o Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities. o Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to the project plan. o Track project progress and update project management tools and documentation. Stakeholder Coordination: o Coordinate between all stakeholders, including suppliers and customers. o Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns. Risk and Issue Management: o Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. o Monitor and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution. Quality Assurance: o Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Budget and Cost Management: o Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and optimization. o Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs. o Ensure payments are processed correctly and on time. Additional Responsibilities: o Provide customers with timelines and schedules for future project completions. o Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
At least 3 years’ Proven work experience as a Project manager or similar sales role in Food & Beverage processing industry or the equipment manufacturing industry with wide network & contacts in this field. Familiarity with CRM software Understanding of beverages/food line operations with knowledge of components of factory beverage line stations such as: blowers, fillers, labellers, packers, etc. Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude BSc mechanical or electrical engineering or BTS in technical (if strong experience)
