Dough preparation: Mix, knead, and ferment pizza dough to the correct texture and consistency

Sauce preparation: Prepare tomato sauce and other pizza bases according to recipes

Ingredient preparation: Slice and organize toppings such as cheese, vegetables, meats, and herbs

Pizza assembly: Stretch dough, add sauce and toppings in proper portions and presentation

Cooking pizzas: Bake pizzas in wood-fired, gas, or electric ovens at the correct temperature and timing

Quality control: Ensure taste, texture, and presentation meet hotel standards

Hygiene and cleanliness: Maintain a clean workstation and follow food safety rules

Stock management: Monitor ingredients and report shortages or ordering needs

Menu support: Assist in developing or updating pizza menu items

Coordination with kitchen team: Work with chefs and kitchen staff for smooth service during busy periods

Basic culinary training or certificate in cooking or bakery arts (preferred but not always required)

Experience working in a kitchen, especially in pizza or Italian cuisine sections

Knowledge of pizza dough preparation and fermentation techniques

Ability to operate different types of pizza ovens (wood-fired, gas, electric)

Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (clean workspace, safe food handling)

Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or Bakery/Pastry (preferred)

Specialized training in pizza making or Italian cuisine

Hands-on kitchen experience, usually 1–5+ years in a pizza station or restaurant kitchen

Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and stretching techniques
