HSE Leadership & Culture ▪ Act as a role model and change agent in promoting a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and employee well-being. ▪ Lead HSE awareness campaigns, Safety walks, toolbox talks, and initiatives across all levels of the organization. ▪ Support the Health & Safety Manager in deploying group HSE strategies and programs at site level. ▪ Continuous follow up and improvement on Nexans Related assessments: ESSA, safety fundamentals, GR compliance… 2. ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Implementation ▪ Ensure adherence to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards. ▪ Lead environmental aspect and occupational hazard identification, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. ▪ Maintain documentation and records aligned with Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements. 3. Employee Health & Well-being ▪ Identify workplace health risks and develop initiatives to mitigate them (e.g., ergonomics, ventilation, exposure controls). ▪ Promote mental health awareness and stress reduction through collaboration with HR and external partners. ▪ Support programs for occupational health screenings, vaccinations, and general health awareness. 4. Environmental Responsibility ▪ Contribute to the company’s environmental strategy and sustainability goals (energy efficiency, waste reduction, emissions control). ▪ Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and corporate standards. ▪ Monitor and reduce environmental impacts through operational improvements and responsible practices. Incident Management & Audit ▪ Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures. ▪ Lead or support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party assessments. ▪ Prepare and present reports on HSE performance and improvement opportunities. 6. Training & Onboarding ▪ Conduct HSE training sessions and health-related awareness campaigns. ▪ Coordinate training schedules, maintain authorization records, and ensure new hires are properly inducted into HSE practices. ▪ Ensure employees are fit for duty and educated about personal and collective responsibilities.
