Job Description

Job Summary

ECM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electromechanical Engineer with approximately 3 years of experience to join its technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and supervision of electromechanical systems and equipment. The role requires strong technical expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems while ensuring operational safety, reliability, and efficiency.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electromechanical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor the performance of motors, gearboxes, braking systems, generators, electrical panels, HVAC systems, pumps, and lifting equipment.
  • Participate in routine inspections and safety checks of equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and maintenance teams during repair and upgrade works.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and maintenance regulations.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electromechanical equipment.
  • Review technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical layouts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and follow up on maintenance materials and procurement needs.


Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance, industrial facilities, transportation systems, or MEP environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, motors, control panels, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
